CDavidson, Golder Associates: More concise language; make user want to explore the tool. The Low Impact Development Treatment Train Tool (LID TTT) is a tool for designing LID systems. The LID TTT was created to promote LID use by making it easy to compare and contrast various stormwater systems. -Users sketch a conceptual site layout and stormwater control scenarios (including traditional SWM and/or LID features) -The tool runs the model with pre-set rainfall timeseries -The tool generates treatment targets, water balance and water quality summaries for each scenario -Users can review, compare, share, and iteratively refine scenarios -Models can be used as a basis for detailed design The tool is built as a user-friendly GIS interface for EPA SWMM5. It helps developers, consultants, municipalities and landowners understand and implement more sustainable stormwater management planning and design practices in their watersheds. The LID TTT is fully integrated with this Wiki guide through links in the tool. The Wiki also provides design guidance for LID features in the tool, including: -Bioretention -Vegetated filter strips -Infiltration trenches -Permeable paving -Rainwater harvesting -Swales -Dry ponds -OGS and filters The LID TTT has been developed in partnership between Lake Simcoe Region Conservation Authority, Credit Valley Conservation, and Toronto and Region Conservation Authority, along with Golder Associates. This links to the project page, where you can download your free copy of the LID TTT.More
