Feedback post on Climate change

Andre Schardong, Golder Associates: This is a good effort, and it is a potentially useful reference for engineers, practitioners and planners. It could/should be more focussed on Climate Change, as the title suggests. Have better-organized sections, be specific on how should precipitation be considered: how is intensity used for designing LIDS? Explain better IDF curves, and they also detail how to update IDF curves due to climate change. Explain, how climate change is usually incorporated into extreme precipitation, briefly describe the methods, bias-correction, the tools the exist. Then we need to be clear about the Climate Models that provide the projections and the uncertainty that arises from using them. Document the shortcoming and how to present the uncertainty to other members of the society and even engineers. The text, as already pointed out, is too wordy. There are many sections with bullet points that do not make much sense in some cases. References also should be revised; some are outdated and do not represent the state-of-the-art in climate research. New data portals just as the ClimateData.ca and others could be also cited and referenced.
