→Stormwater Tree Trenches
This study, conducted by TRCA and City of Toronto, assesses the health of street trees planted in ‘soil cells’ and conventional tree trenches. Three sets of the same two tree species planted in 2009 on Queensway Boulevard in Toronto were compared. The first two sets of trees were planted in supported soil cell systems (silva cell™).
