===Filling the permeameter===
#Check that the three-part inner tube is firmly pressed down to its fullest extent, and that the indicator is at the bottom of the indicator scale on the top of the reservoir.
#The permeameter must be secure and upright for filling. One way to achieve this is to place the permeameter into the well and stabilize by nesting the bushing into the tripod.
#*The disadvantage is that the permeameter must not jostle within the well and care must be taken not to pour water down the outside of the permeameter into the hole directly.
#*The advantage is that the top of the reservoir can be easily seen and accessed.
#At the base of the reservoir there is a knob with a notch in the side. Turn the know so that the notch is at 12 o’clock. This connects the inner and outer chamber within the reservoir.
#On the top of the reservoir open the short hose and remove the rubber plug.
#Water can then be poured into the reservoir using the recessed area in the top.
#When the reservoir appears full, tap the sides gently to dislodge any air bubbles, close off the hose and ensuring that a small excess of water is contained within the recess, replace the plug.
